Where We Started
The AI Strike Team wanted technology founders across the country to consider Pittsburgh as a place to build their next company. The initiative brought together a wide range of regional strengths, from research and robotics to energy, infrastructure, and the people already building businesses there. It needed a name, an identity, and a clear argument for why those strengths mattered to founders. With a major energy and innovation summit approaching, there was a firm deadline to turn an ambitious idea into a public presence.

What We Did
Working with Joanna Doven, CEO of The AI Strike Team, we named the initiative AI Power Pittsburgh and shaped its story around three questions: Why Pittsburgh? Where is it happening? Who is already building here? That structure connected the region’s broader advantages with specific places, companies, and people. We designed the logo and visual identity, developed the content structure, and designed and built the website. AI assisted content development from the initiative’s source material and Joanna’s input, with strategic direction and editorial review guiding the finished work. The site was built to support the launch and accommodate further stories and updates.
What Changed
AI Power Pittsburgh launched in time for the summit with a name, a coherent identity, and a website focused on the questions technology founders bring. The initiative had a clear way to explain its purpose and make the case for the region. The website continued to develop after launch, with additional builder stories and regional information. Its structure gave the initiative an ongoing home for communicating Pittsburgh’s opportunities as the story evolved.
