Where We Started

Module was changing how housing gets built. The Pittsburgh company had grown beyond its original focus on individual homebuyers to become an integrated design, manufacturing, and construction partner for property developers. Its website had not kept pace. Built internally on Wix, the site no longer reflected the company’s capabilities and was frustrating to maintain. Developers needed a clearer picture of how Module’s approach could fit their projects, who handled each stage, and where to begin.

What We Did

We organized the website around the questions developers bring to a potential building partner. Working from Module’s existing Design / Manufacture / Build model, we clarified how its capabilities connect and helped visitors move from understanding the approach to exploring a project. We also expanded the existing brand identity, retaining the logo while adding custom icons and illustrations to explain housing types, development phases, and technical ideas. A new Squarespace website brought the content and design together, with a structure designed to make future updates and additions easier.

What Changed

Module’s website now reflected the business it had become. Developers and partners could see how its services fit together, understand where Module could contribute, and find a clearer starting point for evaluating a project. The work also gave Module a more consistent visual language and room to keep evolving. As the company introduced additional capabilities, programs, and resources, the website’s structure accommodated them, extending the usefulness of the original work.
